AA Walks The Wizzard Alderley Edge
Castle Rock Wizard's Well Engine Vein
Description:
Enjoyed this walk for the second time. Potentially good views, but visibility poor due to drizzle. Visited Wizard's Well this time.
Working in Manchester. Inspecting installation of CCTV system at Chester House Control Office, supervising SERCO.

Location Map: - www.streetmap.co.uk
Alderley Edge

Hazards:
From '8'to '9'continue right down hill to edge of wood, not straight ahead along inviting path. At '10' take gully sharp right after fence before path bends to left. From '10' to '11' continue on track steadily up hill. When land slips are reached take track opposite, imagine path continues without landslip. From '12' to '13' walk with wall on left hand side, then turn left. From '14' to '15' care required, (path right at '14' passes fenced steep drop to mine entrances, and emerges at car park '1').

Photos:
None.
