Parked in National Trust car park at South Haven Point. Walked to chain ferry and cross mouth to chain ferry and crossed mouth of poole harbour to Sandbanks. 90p for pedestrians each way. Ferry from Sandbanks to Brownsea Island. National trust island famous for scouting activities. Enjoyed tea in cafe and feeding red squirrel in gift shop. Slight detour to farm buildings and information point. Light shower of rain at view point, red squirrels in woods. Heavy shower returning to ferry, sheltered under the huge trees.
