Left Sylvia in car in carpark of robby burns cottage (birthplace). At '2' take track on right after last house which leads into Burness Avenue. No footbridge at '3' new houses around '3', take new track between trees to corner or park. Take 'ladies walk' path diagonally across park to rozelle house. No gate at '5' no greenhouses, take path to left of fence around house through gap and past toilets on left to road. No trail around pond at '6' just a new fence. No doors in wall at '9' No Cambusdoon ruin at '12' just an elaborate arch and a grassy area. Continue down slope to river bank walk. Visited Robert Burns birthplace with Sylvia after the walk.
