Description:
Returned to Keld with Jen after a night at Kendal. Long, fairly level
plod up to and past Tan Hill Inn. Pub not open. Frightened cow with calves on
lane to Sleightholme Farm. Bulls in many fields. On one occasion Christopher
and I had to skillfully manipulate Ricky past bulls when they were congregating
around a stile. Chris crossed field first, I held Ricky. Chris called Ricky across
encouraging Ricky to speed past the bulls, then I followed. God's Bridge very
interesting. Ravock Castle a pile of stones.

Location: Start of Walk

Hazards: Few interesting features on this stretch of the Way. Beware of bogs
after Tan Hill Inn. Waited for Kath to collect us from Barnsley.
