Sylvia, Clare, Mum and Darren Middleton in Rover D360 CUY parked at car park in Daymer Bay. I walked hurriedly around the course to return to minimal nagging. The walk took 70 minutes exactly, is this a record? Many sand dunes slowed my progress back to the car park. I could have returned even more quickly if I had taken the less interesting option to return to Daymer Bay along the beach. There were good views across the Bay and across the River Camel to Padstow. It was an undulating low level walk over many sand dunes which were continuous from Cassock Hill back to Daymer Bay.
Brought two cactus from old lady selling plants int he car park. Location Map: -

Car Park at Daymer Bay Hazards: Care is required to dodge golf balls on the fairways between '2' and '5'. At '1' there are two options: a) walk back along the road to signposted lane on the right, continue along the lane to white stones; b) walk to beach, follow fence which surrounds sand dunes to small bridge, walk to left of Brea Hill and follow white stones. From '2' to '5' follow white stones with care across the golf course. From '6' to approx '2'. Follow coastal path (acorn signs) with care over undulating dunes. Ensure tide is not rising if the beach route is taken back to the car.
