Ringing less than average, with a few reasonable spells but too many poor periods. More practise required.

Ringing started reasonably well. All the 'BOBs' were called loud and clearly. I caused a few problems at '5-6 up' a couple of times, because I was dodging too early after 'long sevenths'. I corrected myself by luck more than judgement. Sometimes I was relying on my counting which caused the striking to be a little more wayward than normal. The conductor, Richard, ensured I kept in control on each occasion. I also received a quiet nod from Ian and John occasionally when dodging, which is always reassuring. The time passed quickly which is always a good sign that the ringers are enjoying themselves.

Thanks again to Richard for keeping us all together. This quarter was the last to be rung before the restoration of all the bells by Nicholson Engineering of Bridport, Dorset.
